If you have always enjoyed an active sex life, but now you just don't seem to care anymore, you may feel your body has betrayed you. Worst of all, you want to feel loving and sexual, but you just don't.

As mature women, we hopefully become wiser, more patient and infinitely more loving. The down side to maturing is that our bodies are no longer slim, tight and totally desirable to us or to our partners.

Remember that classic line: Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me? Wouldn’t that be marvelous if it were true? But it isn’t. Words can hurt.

My mother made sure I knew about menstruation but she gave me her version. My sister and I were told not to touch the plants during our periods because they would die.
