When I was a kid in the late '50s/early '60s, Sunday nights meant dinner in front of the TV and "The Ed Sullivan Show." Ed - a former boxer turned sportswriter turned theatre columnist turned show host - had a long run of success in spite of his often cardboard-like persona. Rumor had it that Ed had a wonderful, self-deprecating sense of humor about his stiff, shoulder-shrugging delivery, but nothing could soften him up like a shy little mouse puppet with an adorable Italian accent. Enjoy Ed and Topo bonding once again....

I always thought Ed was rather strange and foreboding but it's nice to see him warm up to Topo. What ever happened to those guys who used to spin the plates in the air on tall poles?
