A short piece on "the best and worst drinks for your diet" in the Dallas Morning News grabbed my attention today. Number one, because the headline implies your chosen weight loss program INCLUDES liquor and, number two, because I am all in favor of the principle behind 'number one.'
The piece lists my summer cocktail of choice - a vodka/soda (second only to vodka/Crystal Lite, which you can't buy at your neighborhood bar, unfortunately) - under "Best" along with wine (red and white) and light beer. Worst libations include regular beer, a Cosmo and the 438-calorie chocolate martini.
Anyone have any other "skinny cocktail" recipes to share?

My favorite for years has been vodka and grapefruit juice (fresh, if I can). You can make a skinny margarita with tequila, triple sec and soda with lots of lime juice and Splenda.

Nothing is skinnier than straight scotch...if you have the stomach for it.
