I am a boomer whodesigned a blog for smart, stylish, and witty women and girls. I stay plugged-in so they don't have to and then report the newest beauty products and health and wellness trends. Job experience: As a court reporter for years, I have taken thousands of depositions, and as a fly on the wall in those depositions, I have been privy to legal banter and testimony ranging from divorce proceedings, to patent infringement cases, to medical malpractice suits, and even U.S. Senate hearings. If the fly could only talk. Family: My family circle includes a multi-decade marriage to The Hubster, a financial advisor, and a mahvelous but parsimonious person (and I mean that in the nicest way possible); a twenty-something daughter who finally found her passion as a vet tech -- I think; a twenty-something son, a college rugby player, who aspires to play professionally, while I aspire that he graduates and finds gainful employment; and a canine variety that has included two bichon frises, and currently the bodacious beagle and a chichi chihuahua.

Interests: My family and friends, reading, exercising, health and wellness -- except Steak 'n Shake chocolate milkshakes, kettle cooked potato chips, and an occasional robust beer in a feminine glass --walking The Dogster, and crossing off the items on my bucket list before I would even think about kicking the bucket.

Eduation: My education includes degrees in court reporting, psychology and business, and graduate studies in marketing and counseling. As my dad always said, "I will leave you with a lot of education but not a lot of inheritance." I am an independent writer, as well as part of an online fashion community called Coutorture.
