I've been divorced for 16 years. Entering the dating scene can be torture. Most newly divorced have been raising children and are kind of out of the single scene. Reentering is difficult to say the least. I think everyone who is going thru a divorce should talk to a therapist, it takes 18 to 24 months to work thru your divorce issues before you're ready to date seriously again. You need alone time to get yourself feeling good. Take this time to
read some self-help books, have a makeover to get back into stylish clothes, hairdos, glasses, make-up,etc. When you look good you feel good, and others can see it. Things have drastically changed in the dating scene since we were in our twenties. Try a confidential and secure on-line dating site that won't put your picture and profile all over the world for anyone to see. Need to be smart about on-line dating. Again a good therapist can help you identify and wade through all the issues you will face as a newly single woman of a certain age. Hope this helps and good luck, Outdoorgirl

Hi Cathy,
Don't know anything about the Unikat designs except that each design is by one artist?? Not sure if my information is accurate. I'll have to check out the europottery.com site
Thanks for the info.

Hi Cathy,
I also love Polish Pottery. I first saw it in several specialty stores and purchased some bowls. Didn't think about it again until my sister and her husband moved to Germany for the first time in 2000. Knowing my taste and home, she was immediately drawn to it for me and started sending me pieces. Thus a collection was born. She and my mother began to purchase all the pieces for Xmas and gifts, so I have a nice collection. I have the Unikat design with some contrasting pieces that Unikat didn't have at the time of purchase. Just spoke to my sister this morning (they are back living in Germany but due to move back to the states in June), talked about getting more pieces before they come home. She goes to Poland to purchase it at pretty good prices, not as good however as before the Euro dollar. Would love to hear about your collection and web sites it can be purchased here. I've looked at a few in the past but can't remember much about them.
