I like Paula too but she really messed up last season with the "I thought you sang twice" show. I think that did her in. I havent heard of DiGaurdi and wonder if anybody has. That doesn't make much sense to me. You would think they would bring in a "celebrity" judge.

There is a really delicious cafe at a nearby pueblo.....I'm sorry I can't remember the name but it was om the road to Taos, I think. It was very good, a nice surprise - good authentic New Mexican/native food.

The big song in my Catholic high school was "ONly the good die young" and we'd sing that line "Catholic girls start much too late..." and laugh and laugh because it was NOT true.

I am looking forward to your lab rat product testing. I have seen that thing on the home shoping network and have always been curious but skeptical.

The kids have all but vanished from my neighborhood and its eerily quie this year. I miss the noise.

My husband used to hit the snooze button twice, every morning like clock work (SORRY!) I used to ask him why he didn't just set the alarm for ten minutes later and he said it wouldn't be the same.

Both, but it sounds like she's searching for a way not to give up the house. A sad commentary on the current stare of affairs.

I had a wonderful, small market I used to shop at until it closed. Now I'm forced to shop at a super-store which is huge. I can never get out of there in under an hour, no matter how orgainzed I am. I could go to Target but that's even worse. The prices are higher and I don't think the produce is ever as good. And then there's the rest of the store tempting me with clothes, shoes, music, etc. I would be in there for many hours!

I have always focused on my kids on Valentine's Day. My husband and I realized it's a manufactured day full of forced and artificial sentiment. We used to give our kids gifts and cards and urge them to do the same for their grandparents. It was never a big day in our house, just a nice diversion in the middle of winter.

It took me a good 4 years to get over my divorce and the deception that surfaced durin g the whole process. My friends and a good therapist helped a lot but I had very few friends at the time who had been there, done that. It would have helped.
