I agree. Ask your kids what they would like to do. Maybe just getting away and doing something totally different will be a good way to get your minds off the fact that it is a holiday. The first Mother's day without my Mother,( 6 months afer she passed) we took my Dad to Myrtle Beach. He loved just being able to relax and listen to the ocean. Doesn't have to be fancy. Maybe your kids want to stay close to home so they can remember the good times they had with their Father. At the very least having a sit-down with them, will give them some empowerment to make a decision. When someone close to you passes away, the feelings of not being in control are so normal that even deciding something small is a stepping stone to regaining back your ability to continue on with life.
Wow! You look amazing! The best thing is, you look super rested and so natural. I've seen other face lifts that look too tight and well, really bad. Your Dr. did a great job, congrats!
You can get cheap plate hangers at any store like Kmart, Walmart etc. Hang a few of your plates on the wall in your kitchen or dining area. You can also hang them over the couch, they are so pretty.
If you happen to have or find some pretty fabric that will match your decor, put it in picture frames for your wall.Your local dollar store will have frames for a buck each! If you find some at a garage sale, you could spray paint them so they all look alike even if the frames themselves are in wood, gold etc. Look beyond what an item is and think if you can change it in someway. Let your creativity flow by thinking outside the box. It's inexpensive and fun!
