Bio
I'm a 48yr old woman who couldn't decide what she wanted to be when she grew up and finally went back to school in my late thirties and became a lic. therapist. I practice out of my home which gives me an opportunity to balance my life by teaching water classes at the YMCA, teaching courses at a local University and volunteering (which usually works out as a way to have lunch with good friends who support the same causes as I do.
I'm married to a super guy (23 years) and have two children one in high school and one who'll graduate from University this year.
We have a zoo at home with a beagle,two parrots and a snake (lives it the sons room) and in the summer my daugter brings in wild animals to rehabilitate when they've been orhaned or hurt (she works with a wild life center)
I've lived in Wisconsin for most of my life except for a breif stay in Georgia where my mom is from.
I started a group called SASSY a couple years ago for fellow Boomer women.
We support each other through tough times (like divorce and hot flashes) and share in happy times (like weddings and chocolate)
