Yes, I have also noticed that I have been sleeping more soundly since beginning a regime of 1200 daily units of Vitamin D3, prescribed by my doctor. Though I had to request the blood test to check for levels of this sunlight vitamin, my doc was surprised to see that my levels were some of the lowest ever! I live in the northeast and during the winter simply do';t see the sunshine very often, let alone able to get out and romp in it.I am an active working senior and have suffered from insomnia (waking in the wee hours for years). I am still not 100% "cured" but I can sense that the quality of my sleep has really improved. So hooray for Vitamin D!
