1. I am overly disciplined about this. In fact, I rarely use the snooze. But thank you for the alarm clock reminder. I have awaken to the alarm more times than I can count, on Christmas, New Year's Day, etc. and it's maddening!!
Obviously, I'm a golf fan (and remember you can play nine holes in two hours) but I love Wimbledon as well. A Venus-Serna match would be great and I couldn't pick a favorite. I'd probalyb go for the lower seed since I love the "Underdog".
I agree with what the experts stated. Our kids, in general, have had it too easy. They are soft. I don't necessarily agree that having boomerang kids makes you feel younger, though. It has aged me terrifically.
I had a bad experience at a lunch meeting involving spinach salad --went to the bathroom after the meeting was over and saw that a piece of spinach was covering one of my lower front teeth. I looked toothless! Never again.
I can't believe you had a brush with Paul Newman! My best celebrity encounter was with Paul Lynde. There will never be another idol for me after Newman. He was the best, still is!!!
Good advice for all of us. I have been in this boat and it's a dangerous voyage. It started "just friends"...fulfilled a void for both of us and felt healthy but eventually...two years into it...got dangerously close to a full-fledged affair.
This was a great interview. These women provided the "soundtrack of my life" as well, during my high school-college days. I will buy this book as my "summer read". Deb
