I can't agree with you more! I love Ellen and love the fact that she's a new CoverGirl. Good grief... beauty being represented by Ellen and Queen Latifah! WHAT?! Someone in the ad world has finally figured out that real women are beautiful. Well bust my buttons!

I appreciate the discussions regarding HRT and depression, but I swear this is something new. Something related to aging and earning potential and coming to terms with beginning the end rather than a new beginning.
More later.... but first, I think I'll be posting more about the Butler.... Ah, the joys of dating.
Thanks, ladies. This I think may be more than hormones. Margo's right, most of us struggle with this issue our whole lives, but now it seems to be more "I'm running out of time" than hormones.

Over the last couple of years I seem to phase in and out of hot flashes and sweats and tears.... During that time I have on occasion requested an update on my hormone levels from my doctors (both GP and gyno). It appears as though it's not really a steady decline. You think you're out of the woods and boom! the flashes start again.
Learning that I could be hot and cold at the same time was a challenge. Finally, I am hoping I have it licked. I was actually cold the other day. A friend of mine almost passed out when I told him!!! I personally did not take any kind of HRT. The women I know that did take them found that when they decided to stop it merely delayed the symptoms.
