Theresa, When I decided to go "natural" I went to Colors salon (by Body Boutique) and had Julie do high and low lights, she did such an awesome job that it blended and grew out beautifully! I haven't looked back since, I will never color again!
I went "natural" several years ago. I used to have dark to medium auburn (lighter in summer) I sometimes miss my darker hair. The odd thing is, my hair now looks blonde, and many think I have it done professionally and ask who does it and what colors they use. I just smile and say this color is exclusive to me, no one else can have it or my colorist....then I tell them it was done by Mother Nature and it took many years and raising four daughters on my own to get it! :) I keep it a medium length now, used to be very long (to my waist).
You can buy Cuddle Duds at Weavers in Lawrence or any JC Penney's store. They are mainly advertised to keep you warm, but also work well to keep your body temp regulated. I think I should contact the company and offer my assistance in marketing them to "thermostatically challenged" boomer women, what do you think? Maybe I can make enough money to move to a climate that better suits my sleeping requirements!
I found this on the Breast Cancer awareness site. I think it might go over better than a scrapbook! But wait, I guess it depends on how heavy the box is--- *wicked grin*
To me "class act" translates in an entirely different way. You can not pull off ANY "fashion look" unless you have inner beauty and class. Self assurance is the thing that makes or breaks the total "look". Another important ingedient is a healthy sense of humor, I know that if I couldn't laugh at my self, no amount of classy clothes would help! As far as what I choose for a wardrobe--- well I pick classic lines for work/business attire with a hint of whimsey thrown in just to make sure I don't take my *advanced age* too seriously!
